About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Beavercreek, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site through regular patrols, access monitoring, incident response, accurate documentation, and professional customer service. The position requires an active Department of Defense Secret clearance and pays $25.16 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Requirements

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as permitted by applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
