As a Security Officer-Clearance Required in Boulder, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related matters.
