Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and policies.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials and authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests in accordance with established site requirements.
  • Receive and route incoming calls, communications, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when needed.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to designated site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
