Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in West Chester, Ohio, to support a defense-focused aerospace and defense location. This is a full-time, unarmed patrol role. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. The position emphasizes attentive observation, accurate reporting, customer service, and following site-specific policies and protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.46 per hour, with weekly pay. Applicants must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel and visitors as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
