About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including healthcare, education, finance, and retail. The role offers exposure to varied sites and assignments, hands-on experience, and opportunities for career advancement. Work is 30–40 hours per week, with schedules varying week to week through manager-assigned shifts and the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments change regularly, and officers may be assigned irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs. The position is based in Saint Louis, Missouri, and pays $34.06 per hour.

Requirements

• An active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• Availability for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Ability to travel the required distance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property follows client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
