About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer to support a financial institution in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The officer will safeguard clients by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and providing customer service. The role follows site-specific policies and procedures and includes documenting observations, incidents, and shift handoffs. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.62 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and conduct shift handoffs in accordance with site requirements.
