About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to support a commercial real estate location in Denver, Colorado. The officer will help safeguard the property while providing professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. The role involves routine interior and exterior patrols, monitoring access points and alarm activity, responding to incidents and concerns, and documenting activity in accordance with company and site requirements. The position pays $26.00 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Guard card or license.
Alarm panel experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor property access, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and interact professionally with people entering the location.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with company and site reporting requirements.
