About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Financial Center in Denver, Colorado, to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. The unarmed officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supports access control, responds to situations, and provides customer service and communication. This is a full-time position paying $26.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following site procedures, access-control protocols, and security response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, building concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and contractor entry in accordance with site policies.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Assist with emergency preparedness, including evacuation support, directing occupants and visitors, and coordinating with property management and responding agencies.
