About The Position

As a Security Officer at a financial institution in Lone Tree, Colorado, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, supporting access control, and providing professional customer service. You will communicate with staff and visitors and use technology to document security-related activities. The role is full-time and scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at $21.56 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation according to company and client-site requirements.
