About The Position

As a Security Officer Financial Post in Stamford, Connecticut, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, communicating professionally, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering customer service. The role is part-time and pays $19.92 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday 8:45 AM–5:15 PM and Friday 8:45 AM–4:15 PM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate records of entries, incidents, and patrol observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established security-related procedures.
• Communicate observations and concerns to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
