About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in El Segundo, California, serving a commercial real estate location. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, staff, contractors, and property while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Duties include conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents and alarms, communicating observations, and documenting activity. The position pays $20.70 per hour. The schedule is Monday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Credential assistance is referenced in the job title.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity.
- Report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information.
