Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Audit
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer for a healthcare location in Richardson, Texas. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and client property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The role uses computer or tablet tools as needed and includes responding to incidents and emergencies, documenting patrol activity, and communicating concerns to company leadership and designated site contacts. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, provide directions, and maintain a professional presence in patient care areas.
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
