About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Ashburn, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. The role follows a schedule of 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $23.18 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Customer service experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery entry in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
