About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, responding to alarms, and documenting observations using technology. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. The position pays $19.67 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Applicants must have at least five years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation and drug screening are conditions of employment, subject to applicable law. Licensing may be required under state or local rules.
Requirements

- Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required prior to employment under applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate shift handoffs according to site procedures.
