Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Badge Patrol
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Lewisville, Texas, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming, collaborative workplace. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge-related processes. You will provide customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. The position pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify credentials and shipping-related appointments as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
- Observe activity around freight, equipment, and restricted areas and report policy concerns to site leadership.
