About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Saint Petersburg, Florida, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. The role involves providing customer service and communicating clearly, using computer or tablet tools as needed. Scheduled shifts run from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $15.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle access points, trailers, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
