About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Control in San Francisco, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a real estate location. You will monitor and patrol the property, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. The role includes conducting routine rounds, responding to alarms and access-control needs, communicating professionally with tenants and visitors, and using technology to document activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor and patrol the real estate location, maintain a visible presence, and support a secure environment.
• Respond to alarms and access-control needs, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and use technology to document activity.
