About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points and alarm activity, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. The role involves following site-specific procedures and financial institution policies, responding to emergencies, and documenting activity and incidents. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, depending on applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with alarm panels.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures and financial institution policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
