About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned diagnostic healthcare location in Chantilly, Virginia. The position provides a designated weekly shift as a dependable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, and adjust their schedule when needed. The role involves customer service, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate documentation. Pay is $20.30 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and participating in emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the diagnostic healthcare location, including exterior, parking, entrance, and perimeter areas, to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and assist with directions and access-related questions.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Accurately and promptly document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with company and site procedures.
