About The Position

As an unarmed patrol driver at an educational location in Miami, Florida, you will help safeguard students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and alarm response, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role involves representing Allied Universal through teamwork and integrity while following site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols.

Requirements

Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 5 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of academic and research buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established site protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unauthorized access concerns, and assist with directions and general site information.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with company and site reporting procedures.
