About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver and badge verification Security Officer at a financial institution location in Arlington, Virginia. The role involves providing customer service, conducting visible vehicle and foot patrols, supporting access control, monitoring visitor and vendor activity, and responding to incidents and alarms. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The position pays $21.63 per hour and is scheduled Mondays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Experience operating a Segway or T3.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter; identify unusual activity and report observations.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures; remain aware of visitor and vendor activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
