About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring areas, verifying credentials, supporting access control, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers. The role involves responding to incidents and alarms, following site-specific and emergency procedures, and accurately documenting and communicating activity. The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $18.52 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred; familiarity with common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to client personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, employee entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
