About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology facility in Ashburn, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $23.18 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Access control and badge experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
