About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Kernersville, North Carolina. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift at the designated site, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $15.24 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The officer provides security and customer service at a logistics and distribution location.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
