About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned property inspection patrol site in Dallas, Texas. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift with a required six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed. The posted pay rate is $17.97 per hour. The listed shift is Monday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, access monitoring, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting observations and actions. Candidates must be at least 18 for unarmed work, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet applicable screening and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access attempts, property concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with company and site requirements.
