About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an unarmed inspection patrol assignment in Williamsburg, Virginia. The position provides a designated site and reliable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to vary their hours and build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The role involves providing customer service and carrying out site-specific security procedures, conducting patrols of hotel and resort grounds, responding professionally to incidents and concerns, monitoring access, and documenting activity. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Applicable state or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if hired for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and maintain a professional presence when interacting with guests and staff.
