About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will help safeguard the property, maintain a visible presence, and provide customer service to tenants and visitors. The role involves regular and random patrols, monitoring access and activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting observations. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, performing emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
