About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol security officer for a grocery store in Inglewood, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned retail areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. The role involves professional communication with customers, employees, and visitors, reporting observations, and responding to routine security needs. The officer will carry out security procedures and site-specific policies, respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work conditions may vary by client site. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
