About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with customers and team members, and provide customer service. Working conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $18.47 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
