About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Bilingual Driver for an assigned site in Lynwood, California. The role provides a fixed weekly shift that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow hours to vary up to 40 per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The listed schedule is Thursday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the site and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment for employees and visitors.
