About The Position

As a Security Officer Experienced Threat Assessment in Long Beach, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in a financial institution setting. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $21.00 per hour. Scheduled shifts are 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
