About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in Williamsburg, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients while helping maintain a welcoming and orderly environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role involves routine patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting observations and security-related activities. You will follow site-specific procedures and food facility protocols, communicate clearly with coworkers and site personnel, and provide customer service.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
Document observations, report concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and maintain accurate activity logs.
Follow food facility protocols and communicate clearly with coworkers and site personnel.
