About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location in Greencastle, PA, you will safeguard employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, follow site-specific procedures, and respond professionally to site needs and emergencies. The role is part time, scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a pay rate of $18.18 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation related to patrols, access activity, incidents, and security concerns.
