About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard the client by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors and use technology to document observations and support daily operations. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.52 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor arrivals, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, including observations related to food production, shipping, receiving, and facility operations.
