About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Southaven, Mississippi, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role involves customer service, clear communication, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The stated schedule is 5:00 AM–1:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site policies to help maintain an orderly environment for patients and staff.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
