About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile in Lima, Ohio. The position pays $20.50 per hour and offers a designated site and weekly anchor shift as a dependable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially working up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This role is intended for candidates seeking part-time work, flexible scheduling, and a possible path to full-time employment.

The officer will provide customer service while performing security procedures at an industrial processing location. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and documenting activity and incidents. Applicants are subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with company policy; licensing requirements may also apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate shift handoffs to Allied Universal and site leadership.
