About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Driver in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Hours can vary with claimed shifts, and the role offers the opportunity to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $17.67 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The officer provides security-related services at the assigned site, follows site-specific procedures and policies, responds to incidents, and conducts patrols. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
