About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for a mobile patrol position in Juneau, Alaska. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shifts require a six-month commitment. Employees may work additional hours at other sites and can build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
