About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Florence, Kentucky. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned technology facility, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The position requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly anchor shift. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and may scale back when needed. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and report unauthorized entry attempts, unusual conditions, and security concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills and escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
