About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Symmes Township, Ohio. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned financial institution, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up enough shifts to work as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.43 per hour, paid weekly. The posted schedule is Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to financial institution clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
