About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for a customer-service patrol driver position at a retail location in Donna, Texas. The role has a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $12.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security concerns to appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established procedures, and document observations and actions taken.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and employee and vendor entry procedures while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.
