About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. The role involves communicating clearly, responding professionally to concerns, supporting a welcoming environment, and following site-specific procedures and policies. The position pays $22.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures according to site requirements.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
