Security Officer - Full Time Retail Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail and mall location in Roseville, California. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. The role involves professional communication with visitors, tenants, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. The position pays $20.75 per hour. Scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and clients by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events.
Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities according to company and site-specific reporting procedures.
