About The Position

As a Security Officer in a luxury retail location in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and report security-related concerns. This is a part-time role with a schedule of Saturday, 10:00 AM–9:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Supervisory experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities according to site procedures.
Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
