About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a luxury retail role in Los Angeles, California. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, delivery personnel, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations; document observations and report matters to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking locations, entry points, perimeter areas, and nearby loading or delivery areas.
Monitor access activity and help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, theft, vandalism, and policy violations through visible presence and timely reporting.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
