About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Communications Security Officer in Orlando, Florida, to serve and safeguard clients at a cultural institution. The officer will help provide a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access monitoring, customer service, and clear communication. The role is scheduled Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
A Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to congregants, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of worship spaces, classrooms, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points during services, events, and daily operations; assist visitors with directions and report unauthorized access concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in accordance with established protocols.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
