About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer to support a professional retirement services location in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observing and reporting concerns, and providing customer service and communication. Officers follow security procedures and site-specific policies and may respond to emergencies and critical situations. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and pays $16.39 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Observe and report concerns.
