About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a utilities-related industrial location in Crooksville, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role includes responding to site needs and incidents, following site-specific procedures, and providing customer service with integrity. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
