About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Summerville, South Carolina, supporting a logistics and distribution location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, deterring security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor site access, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
