About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Piedmont, South Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points and alarm systems, supporting badge control, and maintaining a visible security presence. The role also involves assisting employees and visitors through customer service and communication, while contributing to a reliable team that acts with integrity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing operations, office areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
